Mufida Nazri - a guest of “Rector's Coffee with the Graduate”
During the meeting with the Rector of UITM, Andrzej Rozmus, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof., and Vice Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Konrad Szocik, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof., she talked about her current workplace and responsibilities – As the Manager of the Outpatient Clinic at the Medyk Medical Center, my duties include supervising the day-to-day operations of the medical facility. This includes managing staff, providing quality patient care, coordination to optimize treatment plans, and handling administrative tasks. I also develop and implement clinic policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
At the Medical Training Center for Foreigners, I supervise the development and implementation of medical training programs for international students. My tasks include developing curricula, working with instructors to ensure that training meets international standards, and managing relationships with partner institutions. I also handle administrative duties, including recruitment processes. On the other hand, as the Manager of the Medical Equipment Rental Facility, I am responsible for managing the rental, coordinating deliveries, maintaining equipment, as well as handling contracts and customer service, and optimizing rental processes,” Mufida Nazri points out.
From the beginning, she wanted to study physiotherapy. Mufida made the decision to enroll at the University of Information Technology and Management after graduating from high school in 2015. Although there was no English-language program on offer, she decided to study in the Polish language. In this way, she became the first Asian student in 2016 to start studying Physiotherapy in Polish.
Mufida believes that her studies at UITM have contributed to her current career, as they have enabled her to acquire broad theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various fields.
Education lays the foundation for professional activity, preparing students to solve complex issues. Internships and apprenticeships make it possible to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and gain experience as well as professional contacts. At UITM, students have an opportunity to work with professors and specialists, which fosters networking useful for future employment and cooperation,” Mufida stressed.
Meetings between UITM graduates and Rector’s Authorities are aimed at maintaining ties, cooperating in many common areas, i.e. business lodges, student workshops, student internships, projects and business collaborations, as well as developing the activity of the Alumni Club.
