Anita Gac was a guest at "Rector's Coffee with a Graduate"
Anita Gac graduated with a degree in English Philology with a specialization in translation last March. She started her career at Ideo Force while still a student, then ran her own company with SEO Services Anita Gac. She currently works as an SEO Consultant at TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. At a meeting with UITM Rector Dr. Andrzej Rozmus, Professor of UITM, and UITM Vice Chancellor for Teaching Dr. Barbara Przywara, she admitted that all technological innovations and creative activities, such as writing texts or creating creations, graphics, have always played in her soul. Her current career perfectly combines these two things, as it allows her to explore the world of technology and “venture out” creatively. Until three years ago, she didn’t even know that there was such a thing as SEO. Thanks to the internship she did as part of her studies at UITM, she managed to get a job at an e-marketing agency, and that’s how her world was captured by Internet marketing and all that is related to it.
Anita Gac is currently an SEO specialist and works on positioning websites so that they appear in search results at the highest possible positions. Her main client is the Warner Bros. group. Discovery. When asked about the prospects for her industry, she said:
“The SEO industry is changing and updating very dynamically. All due to the constant updates of the Google search engine and the algorithm that manages it. For sure, further changes will be brought by the development of AI, which is expected to revolutionize Google’s search engine and completely change its face. It will certainly be quite a challenge for specialists, but also an interesting adventure.”
During the meeting, she stressed that her studies at UITM helped her develop soft skills, and improve her English, which is crucial in the industry. She admitted:
“If it weren’t for these studies, I would never have decided to do an internship at a marketing agency, and I wouldn’t have discovered that this is the place for me, where I can realize and develop my interests and strengths. I think it’s worth it to really take advantage of the apprenticeship time to find your place in the job market and gain the necessary experience later on.”
Anita Gac decided to continue her education despite her many professional responsibilities. She did not say goodbye to the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow. Since last November, she has been continuing her master’s studies at UITM, majoring in digital marketing.
