Revathy Seelan was a guest at “Rector’s Coffee with a Graduate”
Revathy Seelan studied Computer Science at UITM with a specialization in Network Technologies and received her bachelor’s degree in October 2018. She started her professional career at Indoleads as an IT Support Engineer, then worked at XTB as a Junior Specialist, providing Level I IT support to non-technical external users via chat and phone. Revathy is Malaysian, and over coffee with UITM Rector Dr. Andrzej Rozmus, UITM Professor, and UITM Vice Rector for Teaching Dr. Barbara Przywara, she admitted that Poland has become her second home. The friendly community, rich culture and our lifestyle make her stay here very rewarding and give her opportunities for personal and professional development.
Revathy Seelan has been working at Global Message Service as a Network Operations Center Quality Engineer since July 2023, dealing mainly with countering SPAM messages. When asked about the outlook for her industry, she said:
The telecommunications and networking industry is experiencing rapid growth and transformation, driven by technological advances and increasing global connectivity. With the development of 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing, the industry is poised for significant expansion. These innovations are expected to enhance network performance, support new business models and provide unprecedented opportunities for both companies and consumers. The continued evolution of telecommunications technology represents a dynamic and promising future for the industry.
During the meeting Revathy Seelan also talked about what her studies have given her:
Studying at UITM played a key role in preparing me for my career. The comprehensive curriculum and practical training provided a solid foundation in networking. The practical experience and theoretical knowledge I gained were directly applicable to my current job, enabling me to secure my position at Global Message Services and continue to improve.
Monthly meetings between UITM alumni and Rectoral Authorities are aimed at maintaining ties, cooperating in many common areas, i.e. business lodges, student workshops, student internships, projects and business collaborations, as well as developing the activities of the Alumni Club.

Michał Godek was a guest at “Rector’s Coffee with a Graduate”
The guest of the June meeting in the series "Rector's Coffee with a Graduate" was Michał Godek - a 2021/22 graduate of the physiotherapy major. He was a physiotherapist in sports clubs and a therapist for children with disabilities, and currently works as Director of the Long-Term Care Center in Łańcut.

Anita Gac, a graduate of English Philology with a specialization in translation, was a guest at the April meeting in the series entitled "Rector's Coffee with a Graduate". Monthly meetings of UITM alumni with Rector's Authorities are aimed at maintaining ties, cooperation in many common areas, i.e. business lodges, student workshops, student internships, projects and business cooperation, as well as developing the activities of the Alumni Club.
