Magdalena Nowak-Kurzeja
Owner of Manhattan School, English translator. Graduate of NKJO Rzeszow in philology, English-language master’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management at the University of Information Technology and Management, and postgraduate studies in certified and specialized translation at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
I honed my language skills in New York, where I worked during my studies. After substituting in a public school for a year, I decided to fulfill my dream and started my own language school in 2016. I have many years of experience in teaching English at different levels from A1 to C2, preparing for FCE, CAE or TELC exams. As an organizer of trips to London or New York, I realize that traveling to English-speaking countries can be a very rewarding way to discover new places, cultures and people, as well as improve language skills and personal development.
I cooperate with the School of Information Technology and Management by taking students on internships. I give them a chance to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge gained at the university.
My motto is: ‘Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.’
