During the meeting with Rector Dr. hab. Andrzej Rozmus, Prof. UITM, and Vice-Rector for Teaching, Dr. Barbara Przywara, Anna Daniec shared insights about her studies and the career opportunities in her field.

“My journey with UITM began five years ago when I started my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Management. I then continued with a master’s in Digital Marketing. I have always been fascinated by topics related to psychology and marketing and combining both turned out to be the perfect choice,” said Anna Daniec.

“While studying, I also began working in the Employer Branding department at Deloitte. I started as an intern, gaining valuable experience in marketing and social media. I also completed an internship in the recruitment department, where I was able to apply my psychological knowledge in practice,” she added.

Anna emphasized that from the beginning, her professional work closely aligned with her field of study, allowing her to grow and gain real-world experience.

“UITM offered me many opportunities to get involved and helped me develop a practical approach to my career. I currently work as an Employer Branding Assistant and coordinate various collaborations with universities in Rzeszów,” she explained.

Looking back, Anna believes that studying Psychology in Management followed by Digital Marketing opened a wide range of career opportunities.

“From my experience in marketing-related roles, knowledge of management and psychology has proven extremely valuable. It supports project execution, effective communication and building the right mindset for tasks,” she said.

“The practical nature of both programs at UITM helps to develop creative ideas, manage career paths and even lays the groundwork for starting one’s own business. Moreover, even after graduation, it is still possible to continue combining these fields and keep growing professionally,” she added.

According to Anna, she chose UITM because of its practical, hands-on approach to education.

“We worked on real-life projects and collaborated in teams, which gave us a solid foundation to enter the job market with confidence,” she noted.
“Thanks to UITM’s Career Services Office, I was able to discover job opportunities and began my career in a field closely related to the studies I chose. My studies prepared me for both individual and team work. Classes with industry practitioners gave me valuable insight into the professional world even before graduation. The courses were relevant, practical, and meaningful,” Anna concluded.

Rector’s Coffee with the Graduate is a series of meetings between UITM alumni and the University’s leadership, designed to maintain strong alumni relations and foster collaboration in various areas — including business networking, student workshops, internships, collaborative projects, and the development of the Alumni Club.
